Health and Safety Week was celebrated here at Kubota last week! This year’s focus on events was reiterating the commitment to safety everyone holds, as well, the importance of health and safety of all employees in and out of the workplace. This was the schedule for this year!
Monday – Commitment to Safety speeches from senior management + the hanging and signing of the Safety Poster
Tuesday – Simcoe County Paramedic Services demonstration for basic first aid, AED use and how can bystanders help paramedics during emergency situations
Wednesday – Lockout Tagout Program training for all departments
Thursday – Canadian Mental Health Association booth, where questions regarding Mental Health, Gambling and Addictions services could be asked
Friday – Blue Cross Benefits booth, where specific questions around employee benefits and services could be asked
This year’s Health and Safety week was a success, with many great messages to take away. The EHS department is excited to continue with this annual event!
